2009 Summer Garden Walk

Saturday and Sunday, June 20 and 21
1:00 to 5:00 p.m., rain or shine

The 2009 garden walk featured six private gardens plus Hilltop’s fabulous Geometry in the Garden Flower Show, theme gardens, and plant sale, all with one ticket good for both days. Visitors could also see the special exhibit of Beatrix Potter collectibles at the Monroe County History Center on the same weekend. Tickets cost $10, available at private gardens and at Hilltop on the days of the walk ONLY. Advance tickets were $8 and were available from Bloomington Garden Club members or these vendors. Many thanks to the generosity of the sponsors of this year’s Summer Garden Walk.  

There was also a plant sale at Hilltop Garden and Nature Center on the weekend of the garden walk. The sale featured deer resistant plants, as well as Midwest native plants and shade plants.
